FAQ
Research Use
Who can purchase from Restorative Research?
Our products are sold only to purchasers who are at least 21 years old and who are qualified researchers, laboratory professionals, educational institutions, or companies engaged in bona fide scientific research. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet these requirements and agree to our Terms and Conditions. We may verify research purpose and may cancel orders we cannot verify.
What are your products intended for?
All products are research-grade reference materials intended exclusively for in-vitro research and laboratory analysis. They are not for human or veterinary use, not for use as food, drugs, cosmetics, or dietary supplements, and not for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
Do you provide usage or handling instructions for people or animals?
No. We do not provide, and our staff cannot give, any guidance on use in humans or animals. Product pages describe each compound’s chemical identity and the areas in which it has been studied in published research.
Orders & Shipping
How are orders shipped?
All orders ship with USPS. Delivery typically takes 3–5 business days after dispatch. We email you a tracking number when your order ships.
When will my order ship?
Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days. We don’t ship on Saturdays or Sundays, so orders placed over a weekend are dispatched from Monday.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is a flat $10 per order within the United States.
Where do you ship?
We ship to addresses within the United States only. We do not ship internationally, and we do not ship to any destination where the purchase of research chemicals is restricted, and we may cancel orders to such destinations.
My tracking hasn’t updated or my package is late. What should I do?
USPS tracking can take up to 24 hours to show the first scan. If your package hasn’t moved for 3 business days, or hasn’t arrived 7 business days after dispatch, contact us at support@restorativeresearch.com with your order number and we’ll open a case with USPS. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is handed to the carrier, as set out in our Terms and Conditions.
How is my order packaged?
Products ship in sealed, labeled containers with tamper-evident seals and batch labeling. Please keep the seals intact until you have checked your order. An unopened, sealed product is required for any return.
Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards and Venmo. The options available for your order are shown at checkout.
When is my payment charged?
Your payment is charged when you place your order. If an order is cancelled before it ships, we refund it to your original payment method.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, the product must be unopened, in its original factory-sealed packaging, with tamper-evident seals and batch labeling intact, and stored as received. Once a product’s seal, packaging, or labeling has been opened, broken, removed, or altered, it cannot be returned or refunded. Some items are not eligible for refund; see our full Refund and Returns Policy for details.
My order arrived damaged or incorrect. What should I do?
Contact us before opening the product, at support@restorativeresearch.com, with your order number and photos of the package and labels. If the damage or error happened in transit or was our mistake, we’ll replace the item or refund it, including shipping.
Who pays for return shipping?
Return shipping is paid by the customer and is non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error. Please use a trackable shipping service; we can’t take responsibility for returns lost in transit.
How are refunds issued?
After we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you to confirm whether it’s approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, whether card or Venmo. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Product Form & Storage
What form do products arrive in?
Peptides are supplied as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in sealed vials unless the product page states otherwise. Tablet-format products are supplied in sealed containers, with the count and amount per tablet shown on the product page.
How should lyophilized materials be stored?
For long-term storage, keep lyophilized material at −20 °C in its sealed vial, protected from light and moisture. Storage at 2–8 °C is suitable for shorter periods. Before opening a vial, let it reach room temperature to limit condensation. Where a product page or label gives different storage conditions, follow those.
How are product sizes listed?
Sizes are listed by the mass of material in each vial, for example 10mg, not by liquid volume. Tablet products list the amount per tablet and the number of tablets.
